Jordan Henderson joins long list of Liverpool's injury list

It's not the best of time for Liverpool and their fans all over the world as the club injury Woes has continued to get worse.
Jurgen Klopp managed to keep players ft and in great form last season as thet raced to a 19 points gap to clinch the Premier League title for the first time since 30 years ago.

It was a record breaking campaign for Jurgen Klopp and they hoped to continue with the run in the ongoing 2020-2021 season, but the otherwise has been the case. 

There have been series of injuries to key players in squad, especially the back line are all out at the moment. 

It all started from Virgil Van Dijk who is out of the season, Fabinho has an hamstring problem, Trent Alexander-Arnold suffered a calf injury against Manchester City two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the international break has seen Andy Robertson suffer injury while representing Scotland in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. 

Also, English duo of Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson have all suffered injuries during the international break.

England boss Gareth Southgate has confirmed that Jordan Henderson was substituted during the Nations League clash against Belgium due to injury concerns.

If you recall that Roberto Martinez Belgium team ended  Three Lions progress in the Nations League with a 2-0 loss at Den Dreef on Sunday.

During the game, Henderson was withdrawn at half-time and replaced by Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks.

"Jordan had a bit of tightness at half time and felt he couldn't carry on," Southgate said after the game. 

"We'll have to assess him when we get back."

The Reds are currently sitting third on the Premier League table. Liverpool will host Leicester City at Anfield once the international break is over. 

Just so you know, Thiago Alcantara and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are still likely to miss the game.

Andy Robertson who picked up a hamstring injury in Scotland's win against Serbia on Thursday will also miss the game against Brendan Rogers side.
