Jose Mourinho takes swipe at FIFA international break

Fans of club football will have to wait till weekend before they have the opportunity of watching their favourite team take to the pitch. 
It's been two weeks of international break, which has seen several players travel to their various countries all over the world to honour their national call up. 

Although the FIFA international has mostly been criticised by many managers whit many in support for it to be scrapped as players usually come back with injuries. 

One manager who isn't happy at the moment has to be Jose Mourinho. 

The Tottenham Hotspur boss has taken a dig at the international break following an Instagram post.

Although, Tottenham seems to be in a comfortable position in the league at the moment as they find themselves on top of the Premier League. 

But the fixture congestion might be a challenge for Jose Mourinho who will have some difficult games once the international break is over. 

Jose Mourinho posted a picture of himself making use of Tottenham’s gym facilities. 

Mourinho wrote on the international break: “Amazing week of football. Great emotions in the national team matches, superb friendlies and total safety.

“Covid test results after matches been played, randomers running on the pitch while team sessions are taking place and much more. After another training session with only six players, it is now time to take care of myself.”

Earlier today, it was reported that Spurs right-back Matt Doherty has tested positive for coronavirus while on international duty with Ireland.

The full back who joined Spurs from Wolverhampton in thr summer has entered a self isolation.
