More trouble for Liverpool as Scotland confirm Andy Robertson has sustained injury

The injury list for Liverpool has continued to grow and the Premier League champions title defense might be at risk at the moment.

Jurgen Klopp has already lost his two centre backs, as Virgil van Dijk suffered season ending injury in the draw against Everton last month. Joe Gomez is also out after he picked up an injury while representing England in the ongoing international break.

Liverpool full back position is in another aspect that would be giving the manager headache at the moment.

If you recall that Trent Alexander-Arnold was forced off the draw against Manchester City last weekend. He sustained a calf problem.

This afternoon, it's been confirmed that Andy Robertson has joined the long list of injured players.

According to Goal, Andy Robertson has not been included in the Scotland squad for their Nations League. He has returned to Liverpool.

Robertson picked up a hamstring injury during Scotland’s dramatic penalty shootout win over Serbia on Thursday.

According to the full back, he said his hamstring seized late in the game during the penalty shoot out and David Marshall took the spot kick as Scotland sealed a ticket in Euro 2020.

It was Scotland’s place at a major tournament for the first time since the 1998 World Cup in France.

Meanwhile Scotland manager has also confirmed the injury.

“Andy Robertson is the most doubtful out of the ones who have a wee question mark over them,” Clarke said.
