Callum Wilson scored twice as Newcastle United put Everton to the sword 2-1 at St James' Park. The former Bournemouth striker bagged a second-half brace for the Magpies, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin's stoppage-time strike was a consolation for the Toffees, who miss out on the chance to go back to the top of the Premier League table.
Everton will be desperate to respond when they welcome Manchester United to Goodison Park next weekend. Meanwhile, Newcastle travel to Southampton aiming to build on today's victory.
