Fans of Juventus were excited after their team news for the UEFA Champions League for match day 3 has been released. It's understood that the Serie A gaints will be hoping to keep their good form in the league to be transformed into the Champions League.

Andrea Pirlo side have only lost only game which came against Barcelona and it was a 2-0 loss in Turin following match day 2.

Although, one good news for fans it that Cristiano Ronaldo is set to make his first Champions League appearance of the 2020-21 season. This comes after the Portuguese international has been named in Juventus' latest European squad.

The forward hasn't played a game in Europe for Juventus after he reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 last month during his international duty for Portugal.

He recently completed his self isolation and latest test conducted on him revealed he has tested negative for the deadly virus.

He seems to be in great form as he came from the bench to score twice as Pirlo side thrashed Spezia 4-1 over the weekend.

Ronaldo is expected to lead the attack along side Alvaro Morata who has also been scoring goals since Ronaldo's absence.

It's understood that Juventus will take the trip to Hungary to take on Ferencvaros on Wednesday night.

Andrea Pirlo have revealed that Captain Giorgio Chiellini will feature against Ferencvaros but Paulo Dybala might be rested for the game.

“Yes, Chiellini has trained well,” Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia. “He recovered from his injury and he’ll be available tomorrow night.

“Dybala is fine, I spoke to him again this morning. It’s normal that after three games, a bit of physical and mental fatigue builds up.

“The lad is fine, he needs to work and keep his physical level up. He’s important and will be useful for the rest of the championship."

“Tomorrow he could be rested in view of Sunday, but he must remain ready. We are many now and there’s room for them to recover for the next matches.”
