It looks like fans of Arsenal Football Club might be seeing a different team as the Gunners have recorded two wins so far in December.
The resurgence all started from their 3-1 win in the London derby against Chelsea on Boxing day.
It was a game that the odds were against the Gunners, with Mikel Arteta surprised fan after he fielded a youthful side to face Chelsea.
At the end of first half, the Gunners were in a 2-0 lead before Saka added the third in the second half before Tammy Abraham pulled a goal back for Chelsea late in the game while Jorginho missed a penalty for the Blues.
Arsenal backed their performance up with a victory against Brighton on Tuesday at the Amex Stadium.
It's been gathered that the club have announced their nominees for the player of the month of December.
Alexandre Lacazette seems to be the only experienced player in the nominees list. The French man scored the back to back goals against Chelsea and Brighton. Lacazette is Arsenal's top scorer so far this season.
Another player whose been tipped to pick up the award happens to be Bukayo Saka, the 19 years old has been terrific form, scoring against Chelsea and creating an assist for Lacazette's goals against Brighton.
While full back, Kieran Tierney has lifted the performance in the attack on the left flank as he has contributed immensely for Mikel Arteta side going forward.
Finally, 20 years old Smith Rowe has impressed Mikel Arteta in his last two Premier League games. It's the first time Smith Rowe will start back to back games. He got an assist against Chelsea for Bukayo Saka chip.
Here's My Prediction For The Player Of The Month Award:
1. Bukayo Saka
2. Alexandre Lacazette
3. Kieran Tierney
4. Smith Rowe
