Jurgen Klopp has seen his side suffer some injuries to senior players in the squad. The German tactician has managed to keep to his team in shape calling up some of the youth academy players. 
Liverpool currently six points clear on top of the Premier League table. The defending champions are hoping to win the title for the second time after their recording winning campaign last season. 

Ahead of the festive period games, Liverpool have been handed a huge boost. 

It's been gathered that three senior players have recovered from their injuries. 
Thiago Alcantara, James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri have all returning to team training on Wednesday ahead of their Boxing day game. 

Liverpool will face West Brom who recently appointed Sam Allardyce after they sacked Slaven Bilic. The Baggies will host the Reds on Sunday.

Although, the manager is yet to confirm whether the trio will be available for the trip to West Brom. 

It was gathered that Jurgen Klopp took charge of 27-man training squad on Wednesday.

Goalkeepers: Alisson, Kelleher, Adrian, Pitagula

Defenders: Fabinho, Matip, Robertson, Trent, Phillips, N. Williams, R. Williams, Koumetio

Midfielders: Thiago, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Jones, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Shaqiri, Keita, Cain, Clarkson

Forwards: Firmino, Minamino, Salah, Mane, Origi

Meanwhile, likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and most recently Diogo Jota are still long time absentees from the team.
