Bayern Munich crushed the visitors 4-1 at the Allianz Arena. Muller and Boateng's first-half goals had put the hosts two goals clear before Kramaric instantly pegged Flick's side back on the stroke of half-time.
Second-half goals from Lewandowski and Gnabry then sealed the three points for the Bavarians but the visitors competed throughout, also going close through the likes of Kaderabek and Nordtveit in the second half.
The hosts go 10 points clear at the top, although that is largely due to RB Leipzig's later kick-off time today. Bayern next face a trip to Hertha Berlin, while Hoffenheim, who sit in 12th, host Eintracht Frankfurt next week.
