Lionel Messi makes quick recovery from injury ahead of Barcelona's trip to Huesca

Barcelona will be hoping for their first win in the year 2021 when they travel away this weekend.
The last time, Ronald Koeman side endured a disappointing game against Eibar which saw them draw 1-1 at the Camp Nou. 

Braithwaite missed a penalty in the game before Ousmane Dembele came off the bench to score the equaliser in the first half. 

Koeman's side haven't been convincing this season and they aren't in a fimiliar position in the league. 

Barcelona are currently trailing by 10 points away from the league leaders Atletico Madrid. It's been gathered that Barcelona are in sixth position. 

On Sunday, Barcelona will travel away to face Huesca. The game is expected to kick off at 9pm GMT. 

Ahead of the manager, Koeman has announced his squad of 22 for the first game of 2021 earlier today. 

According to reports gathered, their captain Lionel Messi is back in training. The talisman missed the Eibar game due to an injury but looks like he has recovered from the injury as he joined the team in training on Saturday. 

The team reportedly trained at the Ciutat Esportiva under the watch of their manager, Ronald Koeman. 

Absentees For The Game:

It's been gathered that Gerard Piqué, Philippe Coutinho, Sergi Roberto and Ansu Fati are all out through injury. 

Meanwhile, defender Samuel Umtiti will also miss the game because he is having gastric difficulties. 

The full squad include: Ter Stegen, Dest, R. Araujo, Sergio, Aleñá, Griezmann, Pjanic, Braithwaite, Messi, O. Dembélé, Riqui Puig, Neto, Lenglet, Pedri, Trincao, Jordi Alba, Matheus, F. De Jong, Junior, Iñaki Peña, O. Mingueza and Konrad.
