Premier League announced date for Manchester United and City's postponed match day 1 games

It's been gathered that Manchester United and Manchester City will play their rescheduled fixtures from the opening weekend of the season in January. 

Premier League announced on Thursday that the postponed games on match day 1 will go ahead this month of January.

If you recall that Both Manchester clubs did not play on the opening weekend in September due to their participation in the knockout stages of last season’s European club competitions.

Burnley will host second-placed Manchester United on January 12 while Manchester City host Aston Villa on January 20.
