Brighton took the lead through Connolly, but a Saiss header, a Burn own-goal and a Neves penalty saw the visitors 3-1 up at the break.
Maupay converted a penalty in the first minute of the second half to get Brighton back into the game, and Dunk headed in from a corner to equalise with 20 minutes left.
The hosts dominated for the remainder of the contest, but Wolves' substitute Otasowie had the chance to win it for his side with the last touch of the game, but headed over the bar.
Both sides have FA Cup Third Round ties next, with Brighton travelling to face Newport County, while Wolves host Crystal Palace.
