The round of 16 clashes of the Europa League has been completed last night following results of the second leg matches.



The draws will take place in Nyon, Switzerland at the UEFA headquarters today, March 19th 2021. The time is 1:00 PM. GMT.

Manchester United and Arsenal are the two Premier League clubs left as United qualified 2-1 on aggregate. Paul Pogba came from the bench to score the only goal at San Siro after first leg ended 1-1 at Old Trafford.

For Arsenal, it was a 1-0 loss at home but still progressed thanks to their three goals away advantage from the first leg in Athens, Greece. It finished 3-2 on aggregate.

There were some shocking results after Tottenham Hotspur was dumped out following 3-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia despite Jose Mourinho side winning first leg 2-0 in London.

Ajax looked comfortable all through both legs against Young Boys, as they dispatched their opponents, 3-0 in first leg and 2-0 in the second.

While Granada and Villarreal are the two La Liga teams who qualified for the quarter-final.

Roma remains the only Serie A that are left in the competition.


Elsewhere, Steven Gerrard who have already clinched the Scottish League crashed out in a game with saw Rangers receive two red cards against Slavia Praha. It ended 2-0 as they lost 3-1 on aggregate.
