Earlier today Barcelona have inaugurated Joan Laporta as the new president. He was presented officially to the board members, staff, players and media at the Camp Nou on Wednesday, March 17th 2021.
Ahead of his presentation, the new president Joan Laporta was seen hugging Lionel Messi.

This could be a good sign for Barcelona fans, as their captain and talisman was rumoured to exit the club in the summer window.
Although, he later changed his mind to stay for another season, but question raised if Laporta could convince him to stay.

Lionel Messi looked happy and excited as he hugged Laporta at the Camp Nou on Wednesday.
