Barcelona have confirmed the arrival of Argentina striker. The Spanish club got their fans in frenzy mode when they announced their first signing of the 2021-2022 season.

Goal had reported that Sergio Aguero preferred a move to Barcelona because he wanted to play along with his Argentine team mate, Lionel Messi.

Aguero left Manchester City as a free agent and he has signed a two years deal with Barcelona.

According to reports, Aguero contract with Barcelona will run until 2023 with a buy out clause set at 100 million euros.

Earlier today, the former Atletico Madrid star arrived at the club's medical centre, Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper to under go his medical.

He looked excited while he was being tested by Barcelona medical team.

Following his successful medical, Barcelona have unveiled the striker at their camp Nou stadium.

He walked into the pitch with a full Barcelona home kit while holding a ball painted in Barcelona badge.

Sergio Aguero spent 10 seasons with Manchester City and he left as their legend as the club's all time top scorer and as the foreign player with most goals in the Premier League.

The Argentine scored a total of 260 goals, created 74 assists and won 15 trophies - 5 Premier League titles, 1 FA Cup, 6 League Cups and 3 Community Shields.
