Breaking: Lille claim 2020-2021 Ligue 1 title after a decade after they beat Angers on final day despite PSG win against Brest

Lille have been crowned Champions of the Ligue 1. This comes after they defeated Angers in their final game of the season.

Lille who were top of the table with two points ahead of second place Paris Saint-Germain needed a point to confirm their title triumph.

Lille had taken an early lead from David after 9 minutes before Yilmaz nets a penalty just before half time. The away side held on after late consolation from Fulgini. 

Elsewhere, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Brest 2-0 while third placed Lyon were defeated 3-2 by Nice.
