Bruno Fernandes scoops Manchester United's Sir Matt Busby Player and Goal of the season award for 2020-2021

Bruno Fernandes has been crowned Manchester United's Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year for the second successive season.


Fernandes has enjoyed another remarkable campaign, scoring 18 times in 36 Premier League starts, claiming nine goals in Europe (Champions League and Europa League) 

The Portuguese international edged his team mates, Luke Shaw and Cavani for the prize. Bruno recorded a total of 63 per cent of the votes cast. Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford finished in fourth and fifth respectively.
Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes also won Manchester United’s Goal of the Season award for 2020/21.

The Portuguese playmaker has found the net 28 times so far this term, which is a record for a Premier League midfielder in a single campaign across all competitions. 

Fernandes also came second in the voting, with his breakaway strike at Newcastle a very different type of goal to the Everton effort.
