Barcelona's president, Joan Laporta says He will not sack Ronald Koeman

It been gathered that Barcelona have finally addressed the future of their manager. 

Ronald Koeman's future at the club have been in doubt following their campaign in the league. 

Barcelona finished the 2020-21 season in third place and were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the round of 16. 

There were speculations that the new Barcelona president, Joan Laporta will not keep the Dutch international. 

But earlier today, Larpote has confirmed that Koeman will remain as their manager. 

Recall that the former Everton and Southampton boss replaced Quique Setien last summer after Barcelona's embarrassing 8-2 defeat by Bayern Munich in the Champions League. 

On Ronald Koeman's future, Barcelona president, Joan Laporta said: 'I'd like to announce that, after a period of reflection, we have decided to continue with Koeman. '

Barcelona posted a picture of Ronald Koeman and Larpote holding the Copa del Rey trophy which he won this season.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have already announced three signings ahead of the 2021-2022 season.

Larpote who is preparing the team for next season has completed deals of Manchester City duo Sergio Aguero and Eric Gracia. Also, Emerson Royal has joined the from Real Betis.
