The 36 years old attacker return to Villa after he's contract with Inter Milan ended at the end of the season.
The former Manchester United star has penned a one-year deal at Villa Park. Upon his arrival at Aston where he left a decade ago, The former England international said: “It feels amazing to be back, it feels like I've not left.
“I'm just delighted to be back, seeing some old faces, being back at the training ground, seeing the facilities and how well they've grown."
Recall that Ashley Young lifted the Serie A title with Inter Milan, as they ended Juventus dominance in the league.
He added: “You can see how much the club has evolved since my time and I'm just ready to get down to work now.”
Young spent five years at Villa and made 190 appearances and scored 38 goals during that period. He left in a £17m deal for Old Trafford in 2011 and won the Premier League title with the Red Devils.
Meanwhile, Young moved from United to Italy with Inter in January 2020 and signed a year deal with Nerazzurri.
