Bayern Munich and FC Köln donates €100k to help flood victims in Germany

Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich have confirmed their partnership with FC Köln towards helping those families affected by the flood in Germany. 

The two Bundesliga clubs faced each other in a friendly game this Saturday evening. Bayern Munich lost the game 3-2 in what was Julian Nagelsmann first game in charge as manager of the Bavarians. 

After the game, Bayern Munich confirmed that €100,000 was donated by Bayern, FC Köln and tech company Telekom. 

The money was donated to Lichtblicke e.V to help victims of the floods. 

Sharing the good news on their social media space, the caption reads: "Together with partner Telekom and 1. FC Köln, FC Bayern have donated €100,000 to the victims of the floods in Germany. The amount is being split in three by the partners, with the money going to the organisation 'Lichtblicke e.V.'."
