Paris Saint-Germain have completed their third signing ahead of the 2021-2022 season. Recall that PSG were unable to defend their Ligue 1 title. They lost the league title to Lille last season. 

PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino has added another star player to the team following the arrival of Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid and Georginio Wijnaldum from Liverpool few weeks ago. Paris Saint-Germain completed the deals for the two players on free transfers. 

PSG have completed the signing of Gianluigi Donnarumma on a free transfer. The Italian goalkeeper has signed a five-year contract until 30 June 2026.


The 22-year-old Italy left AC Milan after his contract with the Rossoneri expired last season. Donnarumma spent six seasons with the Rossoneri, he made 215 Serie A appearances for the club since he made his debut in 2015. 

The Italy goalkeeper has expressed his delight to the join the Ligue 1 side on a long term deal. 

Gianluigi Donnarumma said: "I am delighted to be part of this huge club. I feel ready to take on this new challenge and continue to grow here. With Paris, I want to win as much as possible and to bring joy to the supporters."

Recall that Gianluigi Donnarumma was named the European Championship player of the tournament following his performance with Italy. The 22-year-old saved three penalties in Azzurri victory against England in the final a Wembley last week.
