Wolverhampton hosted Crewe Alexandra in their pre-season game on Saturday, July 17th 2021. It was an emotional moment for Raul Jimenez who started the game, it was the first time since he was injured last year.

Recall that Jimenez suffered a fractured skull against Arsenal in November in 2020. He was ruled out of season. The striker played the first 45 minutes of the game before he was replaced by Crotone. Jimenez was spotted a head band to protect his forehead during the game.
