Manchester City broke England's transfer record with the deal of Aston Villa captain for £100m. 

Jack Grealish completed six years deal from Aston Villa to join the Premier League champions. The English international has surpassed Paul Pogba £80m transfer fee from Juventus to Manchester United. 


Pep Guardiola completed his first signing ahead of the 2021-2022 season. Recall that Manchester City clinched the Premier League and League Cup last season. 

Jack Grealish played an important role in Aston Villa survival in the Premier League two seasons ago. The creative midfielder also guided Villa to 10th place last campaign. 

Manchester City have unveiled Jack Grealish to the fans and media, he has been handed jersey number 10 which was previously worn by Sergio Aguero who left for Barcelona on free transfer. 

On Friday (August 9th 2021), Jack Grealish met his new manager for the first time. The 25-year-old midfielder was spotted in the office of Pep Guardiola return this afternoon.

Following a brief meeting with the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach, Jack Grealish took part in his first training session at the Manchester City Football Academy.


Manchester City are preparing for their community shield clash against Leicester City at Wembley stadium on Saturday.
