Arsenal football club hosted newly promoted side, Brentford in a behind-closed doors friendly.
Mikel Arteta used the friendly to build fitness and confidence level of some his fringe players who weren't called up to represent their nations for the international break.

Arsenal are currently bottom of the Premier League table after they lost all three games in the month of August.

The Gunners recorded 4-0 win over Brentford in a behind-closed-doors friendly at London Colney. All the four goals were scored in the second half of the game.

Five Talking Points From Arsenal's 4-0 Win Against Brentford

1. Aaron Ramsdale Clean Sheet
It's the second appearance for the newly signed goalkeeper who joined the club from Sheffield United. Recall that Ramsdale kept his first clean sheet against West Bromwich Albion in the Gunners 6-0 win last week.

2. Gabriel Magalhães Makes Return From Injury
The Brazilian missed the opening three games this season due to injury he suffered while he was representing Brazil at the 2020 Olympics. Gabriel Magalhães played in defense in the friendly against Brentford. The former Lille star scored the opening goal after 46 minutes.

3. Ben White Recovers From Covid-19
Benjamin White joined Arsenal for £50m from Brighton Hove Albion this season. The English international suffered Covid-19 weeks ago and missed the last two games. Ben White looked sharp in the friendly as he paired Gabriel Magalhães in defense.

4. Alexander Lacazette Recovers From Illness
The French recently recovered from the coronavirus after he missed the opening games of the season. Alexandre Lacazette scored Arsenal's second goal after he curled a fine free-kick in the 60th minutes.

5. Cedric Soares Versatility
Cedric Soares played the left back position in the friendly and he scored twice in the game. The former Southampton star scored in the 76th minutes after he lobbed the goalkeeper. Cedric madecit four when he rose well to head in Nicolas Pepe's  cross in the last minute.
