The Arsenal boss has turned the fortunes of the Gunners after a disappointing start to the 2021 Premier League season. The north London side lost all three games in the month of August which left them in bottom of the league table.
But Arsenal secured victories against Burnley, Norwich City and Tottenham Hotspur to move up in the table in the month of September.
Mikel Arteta was spotted posing with the manager award along with his back room staff at the London Colney training center on Friday afternoon.
The 39-year-old manager picked up the award ahead of a five-man shortlist which included Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Graham Potter and Dean Smith.
