Thomas Partey included in Arsenal's squad to face Liverpool in Carabao Cup semi-final 2nd leg barely 24 hours after playing in AFCON

Mikel Arteta has included Thomas Partey in the Arsenal's squad to face Liverpool in the semi final second leg league Cup clash.

The Gunners host the Reds tonight at the Emirates stadium, recall that the two sides played a goalless draw in the first leg at Anfield.

Meanwhile Partey seems to have travelled to London immediately after Ghana were knocked out of the African Cup of Nations tournament.

The Black Stars lost to Comoros 3-2 few days ago.

Meanwhile Arsenal have welcomed back Martin Odegaard who missed the first leg after he tested positive for coronavirus. Tomiyasu and Emile Smith-Rowe have recovered from injuries.

Arsenal have also confirmed that Bernd Leno is missing due to a back injury, Cedric Soares has injury in his right hip, Callum Chambers is also unable and Granit Xhaka is suspended.
