Arsenal Star has provided updates on his health condition after he left the Gabon camp at the AFCON to return to London.

The 32-year-old returned to Arsenal for medical examinations after being diagnosed with heart lesions following a positive coronavirus test at the ongoing 2021 AFCON tournament.

Earlier today January 20th 2022, Aubameyang was spotted at the gym working on his fitness. In his caption he shared on his verified Instagram page (@auba) he revealed that his heart is fine.

The Gabon international also appreciated the fans and supporters for their messages.

He captioned: "Hi guys, I came back to London to do some additional checks, and I’m very happy to say that my heart is absolutely fine and I’m completely healthy!! Really appreciate all the messages over the last few days and I’m already back at it."

It has yet to be decided whether the Gabon captain will return to Cameroon for the Africa Cup of Nations, with The Panthers set to face Burkina Faso on Sunday in the last 16.

It's also unclear if Aubameyang will still remain at the Emirates stadium, recall that Auba was stripped of the captaincy in December after a disciplinary breach.

According to reports gathered, several European clubs such as AC Milan, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille and Sevilla are currently interested in signing him this January window.
