Kevin-Prince Boateng had around £350,000 worth of possessions stolen from his house while he was playing for Barcelona against Valladolid.

Police are investigating the break-in and have estimated between £250,000 and £350,000 of goods have been lifted.

Marca reported that thieves stole jewelry, watches and watches during the raid of the empty house.

The Ghanaian joined the Catalan giants in January on a loan until the end of the season from Italian side Sassuolo.

Boateng made his La Liga debut for Barca in the match with Valladolid and played 60 minutes before he was replaced by Luis Suarez.

Barca won the game 1-0 thanks to Lionel Messi's penalty just before half time.

The result maintained Ernesto Valverde's side's place at the top of the table - with the gap to Atletico Madrid in second currently seven points.
