Arsenal’s possible jersey for next season have made their way online as speculation over a new manufacturer intensifies.
It was gathered that these photos were leaked.
According to Mirro football, adidas officials were at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday to hold the latest round of planning talks ahead of the beginning of their multi-million pound kit partnership this summer.
The German kit giants will replace brand rivals Puma as Arsenal’s official kit suppliers. The deal is understood to be worth £300m over five seasons – the largest in the club’s history.
At £60m-a-year, it is double the amount north London rivals Tottenham reportedly receive from Nike and one of the most lucrative partnerships in world football. But it trails significantly behind the £75m-a-year Premier League rivals Manchester United pocket from adidas.
Puma, meanwhile, are expected to partner up with champions Manchester City when their deal with Nike expires at the end of the season. Adidas do not comment on purported football strip designs. But if these recent ‘leaks’ are anything to go by, Arsenal fans are set for a nostalgic trip down memory lane in a throwback to their late 1980s classics.
