Real Madrid goalkeeper Navas has been tipped to move to the Premier League at the end of the season, with Arsenal emerging as potential suitors.
The Gunners will need a replacement for Petr Cech and, with Bernd Leno blowing hot and cold, a transfer has been mooted.
It has been a difficult season for Navas over at Real Madrid, with the Costa Rica international toiling under both Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari.
He has lost his place to Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order but, with Zidane back in charge, that could be set to change.
And OK Diario say that, prior to the Frenchman’s return, Navas was poised to leave.
The Costa Rica international was fed up with life under Solari and missing their Champions League game against CSKA Moscow in December.
As a result, the shot-stopper supposedly said ‘yes’ to offers from the Premier League.
But, with Zidane back in town, Navas is now keen to stay at the Bernabeu and fight Courtois for the No 1 jersey.
