Kieran Trippier is closing in on a move to Napoli after agreeing personal terms with the Serie A side, according to reports in Italy.
Il Mattino report that an agreement has been struck with the player but Napoli now have to agree a fee with Spurs for the move to go ahead.
They could potentially be kept waiting a while as Tottenham prepare for their Champions League final against Liverpool on June 1 in Madrid.
The 28-year-old Tripper has played 37 times for Tottenham this season and was a key part of the England squad that reached the World Cup semi-final last summer.
But with Mauricio Pochettino reportedly looking to raise as much funds as possible for a summer restructuring at Tottenham, it is believed he would consider selling Trippier if the right bid came in.
Trippier, who has also been linked with Atletico Madrid, has three years remaining on his contract at Tottenham.
