Claudio Pizarro confirms he'll retire in 2020, telling the Weser Kurier: "It's the last year, for sure. I spoke to everyone. I feel fine, but that's enough now. In my last season with Werder I want to reach Europe. Then I would be very happy."
The 40-year-old had played for Deportivo Pesquero, Alianza Lima, Werder Bremen, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Koln
He has 768 caps for clubs, scored 314 goals and won 18 trophies.
