Barca Youngster, Sergi Roberto lost his mother after a long illness

Barcelona have confirmed the sad news  of the passing away of Sergio Roberto's mother.

This was revealed in a message of condolences to Roberto which was published on the club's official twitter handle.

On Saturday, the La Liga giants shared the sad death of Maria Rosa Carnicer, mother of Sergi Roberto.

"A hard night for Roberto but we all with you. 🙏"The tweet reads.
