Veteran Nigerian music star Charly Boy has buried his mother, Margaret Ntianu Oputa .
Margaret Ntianu Oputa died on October 8 at the age of 101.
The passage of the mother was no doubt painful to the rascally entertainer and sometimes political activist, however, he took solace in the fact that the deceased didn’t just live to old age before passing to the great beyond but equally lived a good life and left behind a good legacy.
When it was time for Charly Boy to commit his mother to mother earth and bid her farewell, he went all out to ensure he did this to the best of his ability and eventually, the whole affair ended in a very commendable way which will no doubt put smiles on the face of the deceased wherever she was as her son gave her a most befitting burial.
Sharing pictures of the burial, which took place in Imo State on Facebook, Charly Boy wrote: My Dearest Mother,
The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you, shall never pass away.
I trust you’re Happy now.
Tell Papa I galant die.
