The Villans secured 2-1 win to advance to the final of the League Cup after a late winner from substitute Trezeguet.
The first leg ended in a score draw at the King Power stadium after Kelechi Iheanacho scored the equalizer to cancel Jack Greelish opener.
Matt Targett had given Villa a 12th-minute lead, but Leicester deservedly levelled through Kelechi Iheanacho in the 72nd minute.
Trezeguet came from the bench to net a stoppage-time winner as Aston Villa beat Leicester City 2-1 to reach the EFL Cup final.
The winger got on the end of Ahmed El Mohamady's superb cross from the right and sent a fine volley across goal and into the right corner.
Aston Villa won 3-2 on aggregate after Leicester were stunned, with the match having looked destined to go to extra time.
