Xavi wins second silver ware as a coach with Al-Saad after turning down Barca offer

Xavi Hernandez has continued to build his profile in the coaching market following his latest achievement with his Qatar club, Al Saad.

Recall that days ago, Xavi rejected the offer to become Barcelona coach, stating that it was too early to manage the Catalan club.

Instead, Barca moved to sign former Real Betis coach, Quique Setien.

Al Saad dispatched rivals Al-Duhail 4-0 in the cup final at the Jassim Bin Hamad stadium in the Qatari capital.

This is second time that Xavi has secured the Qatari cup as coach of Al-Saad with the first win coming in the 2017 campaign.   

The match ended in a four nil thrashing of Al-Duhail, that has former Juventus duo Mario Mandzukic and Benatia in their ranks.
