Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is expected to be without several first-team players ahead of their match this weekend.

It's been gathered that Ange Postecoglou confirms Micky van de Ven and James Maddison will likely be out until next year. 



Spurs who have enjoyed a great start of the season will travel to face Wolverhampton on Saturday in the Premier League.

Ange Postecoglou's side will hope to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Chelsea on Monday night.

If you recall that Tottenham Hotspur suffered their first defeat in the Premier League this season against the Blues.

Nicolas Jackson hat-trick condemned Tottenham to 3-1 loss with Dejan Kulusevski netting the opener after six minutes.

The Red two red cards to Christian Romero and Destiny Udogie both half of the game handed Chelsea the numerical advantage.

Ahead of the Wolves match on Saturday, Ange Postecoglou confirmed that James Maddison, Richardson and Van de Ven are expected to be out until new year.

On Van de Ven, he said, "will be out for couple of months, looking to the New Year”.

The defender who joined from Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga has been able to settle into the team. He was injured in their last game against Chelsea.

Ange Postecoglou said, “Maddison, it’s a lot worse than we thought. Probably into the New Year”.

While Richarlison is expected to undergo a surgery which will rule him out for months. “Richarlison should be out for a month,"the coach added.

Also, Christian Romero and Destiny Udogie are expected to miss the trip to Wolves due to suspension of red card.
