Is There Consistency With VAR in England? VAR disallowed Napoli goal after check for a push on the defender in the Champions League similar to Joelinton "push" on Gabriel Magalhaes

Napoli goal against Union Berlin in the UEFA Champions League have been cancelled for a foul.

The VAR decided to rule out the goal due to a foul on the Union Berlin player.

This decision has generated a lot of reactions from fans following the same incident happened in Newcastle vs Arsenal 

If you recall that the Gunners suffered their first defeat in the Premier League last week. 

Arsenal lost 1-0 to Newcastle United after a controversial goal score by Anthony Gordon. 

During the build up of the goal Joe Willock picked up the ball from position which looked like it was out of play, he crossed the ball then Joelinton pushed Gabriel Magalhaes before Gordon who seems to offside lashed it into the empty net. 

But the Newcastle goal stands after VAR check for Joelinton's 'push' on Gabriel Magalhaes. 

Meanwhile, in the Napoli UCL game against Union Berlin, the similar incident happened but the goal disallowed after VAR check for a push on the defender in the Champions League.

Several fans have called out the inconsistency of the referee and the use of VAR in England. 

Mikel Arteta lashed out at the poor officiating which saw his team dropped to third on the Premier League table.
