Galatasaray have officially tabled an opening offer of €50 million plus €5 million in add-ons for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. However, Napoli remain firm in their valuation and are holding out for the full €75 million release clause, which must be met in full and upfront.
Osimhen, who enjoyed a prolific loan spell at Galatasaray last season with 37 goals in 41 appearances, is reportedly eager to return to Istanbul on a permanent basis. His preference for continuing in Europe has led him to reject multiple lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, including a renewed approach from Al Hilal, who are prepared to activate the €75 million clause but have yet to reach personal terms with the player.
Negotiations between Galatasaray and Napoli are ongoing, with the Turkish champions exploring sponsorship-backed financial packages to meet the Italian club’s demands. Napoli, meanwhile, have set a deadline of July 15 for any club to trigger Osimhen’s clause, after which they may consider alternative arrangements or a contract extension.
The coming days are expected to be decisive as Galatasaray push to secure one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards, while Al Hilal remain in the wings with deep pockets and persistent interest.
