Nigerian singer and songwriter Abolore Adegbola Akande, popularly known as 9ice, has joyfully announced that he and his partner have welcomed their second child.
In a social media post shared by entertainment platform Instablog9ja, the couple were described as having “become veterans of the 9-month masterclass,” a playful nod to the pregnancy journey.
9ice has been involved in a few high-profile relationships and marriages. His first marriage was to Toni Payne in 2008, and they had a son, Zion, before their separation in 2010. He later had a relationship with Vickie Godis, with whom he fathered twin daughters, Maya and Miya. In December 2019, the singer married Olasunkanmi Akande, also known as Sunkanmi Ajala, and they share a daughter together.
