A day after some people expected President Muhammadu Buhari to get married to one of his ministers, his wife, Mrs Aisha Buhari, is on his way to Nigeria 🇳🇬 from the United Kingdom.
Some fake news had indicated that Buhari would, on Friday, get married to the Humanitarian Minister, Sadiya Farouq, a projection that fell flat, and has started inspiring many jokes among the people.
Aisha was said to be away from the Aso Rock and this had fuelled speculations.
The Presidency had, howeve, said, being a free citizen, she had the right to travel to anywhere she chose – like other Nigerians.
But she has departed UK for Nigeria now, as she herself noted on Twitter.
Wife of the Nigerian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Mrs. Modupe Oguntade, saw her off.
