Although the English Premier League club are yet to revealed the name of the player who tested positive for coronavirus.

The league is currently on suspension until April 30th, a move made by the FA in order to curb the spread of the Coronavirus.

The club's chief executive Paul Barber confirmed. He revealed that three unnamed members took the test after showing symptoms of Covid-19, but one of the players tested positive.

Recall that weeks ago, Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta was the first to test positive to the virus. He was followed by Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi.

According to ESPN, both Arteta and Hudson are recovering from the virus.

It was also reported that some Leicester City players tested positive. But the Foxes didn't reveal the identities of the players.

Early this week, clubs annouced that training ground has been shut down as players were directed to train from their homes.

Some players still monitor their players fitness via internet so as to ensure the players remain fit and ready when the league resumes.

"We've had three players tested, one has tested positive. We're not testing them routinely, we're only testing them when symptoms emerge," Barber said during avirtual press conference on Thursday

"But the one that tested positive was just today, so that's unfortunate but he's OK and he's obviously getting the care that he needs at the moment."
