Governor Akeredolu has ordered that all major and community markets in Ondo state should be reopened on Saturday, May 23.
Governor made this known in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olusegun Ajiboye.
Recall that daily market activities in the State were banned as part of measures to curb the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The decision is to enable Muslim faithful in the State engage in shopping activities ahead of the Eid-el-Fitr festivities.
“Meanwhile, it must be noted that the earlier order restricting business and market activities to Tuesdays and Thursdays in the State resume immediately after tomorrow,” the statement added.
