EPL clubs have voted for players to resume training (Read Details)

Following the outcome of the conference meeting today, Premier League clubs have agreed for players to return to training. 


According to reports, the club's have agreed with protocols which would allow the clubs resume their training in small groups. 

The training is expected to begin from Tuesday, May 19th 2020. 


The Clubs reportedly voted unanimously at Monday's "Project Restart" meeting.

It's been revealed that the players must also observe social distancing rules. Also, contact between the players in training is not permitted.

Media outlets in England suggests that the first stage "has been agreed. 

This agreement came from consultation with players, managers, club doctors, independent experts and the government".

The Premier League statement added: "Strict medical protocols of the highest standard will ensure everyone returns to training in the safest environment possible.

"The health and wellbeing of all participants is the Premier League's priority, and the safe return to training is a step-by-step process.

"Full consultation will now continue with players, managers, clubs, the PFA and LMA as protocols for full-contact training are developed."
