Fans of Chelsea were surprised after Willian didn't make the match day squad.
The Brazilian winger has revealed the reason, according to him, he's been struggling with fitness following an injury sustained weeks ago.
He tweeted: "We've been working all season to enjoy a moment like this, playing a great final match at Wembley. I did treatment for the whole week, but unfortunately the pain persists. I won't be on the field this time, but I am with my teammates until the end! Come on Blues!!! 💪#cfc #FACup "
Recall that Willian missed the 2-0 win against Wolverhampton in the final game of the season at Stamford Bridge.
The winger is currently in his final year of his contract at Chelsea as he's yet to agree new deal.
