Lille Confirms Gabriel Magalhes Deal With Arsenal

Arsenal new boss, Mikel Arteta has continued to remain active in the transfer window. It's understood that the Spainsh boss is looking to boost his squad with some blend of youths and experience ahead of the 2020-21 season.

The new Premier League season will kick off on September 12th 2020 and the Gunners will travel to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta has already completed the transfer of Willian from Chelsea as a free transfer.

According reports, the Gunners are close to announce the deal of youngster, Gabriel Magalhaes.

The Brazilian defender completed his Arsenal medical. The 22-year-old is expected to be handed a long-term five year deal at the Emirates.

Gabriel Magalhes has been linked to several clubs in Europe such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Napoli, Barcelona and many other top sides.

Meanwhile, Lille president Gerard Lopez has confirmed that Magalhaes is expected to be officially announced as an Arsenal player this weekend.

He said: 'We gave him plenty of time to make a decision.

'We gave him some advice but in the end he and his entourage will make a choice and we will support it.'
