Cristiano Ronaldo was reminded to wear His mask as he sat out Portugal's 4-1 win against Croatia

Cristiano Ronaldo was ruled out of Portugal’s UEFA Nations League clash against Croatia on Saturday evening.

Portugal recorded a 4-1 victory over their opponents thanks to goals from Joao Cancelo, Diogo Jota, Joao Felix and Andre Silva.

Football Italia reported that Ronaldo was not included in Portugal’s squad because of a bee sting. The 35-year-old’s right foot has reportedly become infected due to the sting and there’s a chance he could also miss Portugal’s fixture against Sweden on Tuesday.

During the game on Saturday night, the camera spot Ronaldo being asked by a member of staff inside the stadium to wear a face mask.
