Arsenal set to kick off their 2020-21 season on Saturday. The north London side will travel to Craven Cottage to face city rival Fulham. 

The game is expected to kick off at 12:30 pm. 

It's been gathered that Mikel Arteta will be hoping to continue with their form after defeating Liverpool in the Community Shield last week. 

Ahead of the game on Saturday early kick off, it's been gathered that Arsenal will be without their most experienced centre back. 

David Luiz is set to miss the opening game of the season due to a neck spasm. According to reports, the Brazilian is currently is being assessed and undergoing treatment. 

Mikel Arteta could hand new signing Gabriel Magalhaes or Williams Saliba their debuts for the club at the defense with Rob Holding.

It was also reported that Papastathopoulos Sokratis has been ruled out of the game. The Greek international has injured his right calf in training. He is expected to get back into full training next week.

 
Youngster, Emile Smith Rowe has joined the injury list, he sustained an injury to his right shoulder in training. Rowe spent last season on loan at Huddersfield in the Championship.

Meanwhile, Mustafi, Pablo Mari, Gabriel Martinelli, Callum Chambers are currently on long term injury list.
