Players Agree Lionel Messi To Remain As Captain While Busquets, Piqué and Roberto as Deputies

Barcelona fans are getting set for a new season following the appointment of Ronald Koeman as their new manager.

The Dutch boss left his position as coach of Netherlands to manage the club he once played for as a young and developing talent in Europe.

It's been gathered that Koeman had been making changes to the team ahead of the new season since he joined.

Antoine Griezmann has been handed rj3 jersey number 7, as Koeman wants to build his attack around the French man.

The club have also settled the future of Lionel Messi after the Argentine had initially submitted a transfer request.

With Messi set to stay at Camp Nou, Koeman had appointed the Argentine as one of his talisman.

Ronald Koeman gave his players the opportunity to decide their captain as they voted.

From the votes which was casted by the players, Lionel Messi was voted the first by his team-mates, with Sergio Busquets second.

While Gerard Piqué and Sergi Roberto came third and fourth respectively.
