Paco Alcacer came from the bench to score two goals in space of four minutes as Villarreal defeated Sivasspor in a high scoring game at the Estadio de la Cerámica on Thursday night.


Takefusa Kubo (Villarreal) put the Yellow Submarines in the lead after 13 minutes with a left footed shot from the centre of the box to the centre of the goal.

Carlos Bacca (Villarreal) doubled the advantage with a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner as Takefusa Kubo turned the provider. 

Nigerian international Olarenwaju Kayode (Sivasspor) made it 2-1 in the 33rd minutes as he's right footed shot from the centre of the box to the top right corner. Assisted by Mustapha Yatabaré with a through ball.

Four minutes later, Villarreal had a chance to make it three from the penalty spot, and Carlos Bacca (Villarreal) fails to capitalise on this great opportunity, right footed shot saved in the bottom left corner.

Just before the half time whistle, Sivasspor drew level as Mustapha Yatabaré (Sivasspor) header from the centre of the box to the top right corner. Assisted by Robin Yalcin with a cross.


In the second half, Juan Foyth (Villarreal) header from the centre of the box to the top right corner made it 3-2. Assisted by Takefusa Kubo with a cross following a corner.

But the away side showed passion as they captilised on another scoring opportunity to grab their third goal, Max-Alain Gradel (Sivasspor) from a free kick with a right footed shot to the top left corner.


With time running out for Unai Emery side, Paco Alcácer (Villarreal) came on and score after 74 minutes with a right footed shot from the left side of the six yard box to the bottom left corner.


The former Barcelona star, Paco Alcácer (Villarreal) added the fifth for Villarreal four minutes later with a right footed shot from the right side of the box to the bottom left corner. Assisted by Juan Foyth with a through ball.
