Mesut Özil still hits the gym despite being AXED from the Arsenal team

Mesut Özil has continued to remain active on social media despite not playing a football game for Arsenal since March. The German is currently enduring a difficult spell at the moment.

He has been axed from Mikel Arteta Premier League 25 man squad, and it appears the former Real Madrid star future at the Emirates stadium looks uncertain.

Ozil played his best spell under former manager Arsene Wenger when he joined from Real Madrid.

Ozil currently earns 350,000 pounds every week and he's deal is expected to run down in 2021.

Although, the play maker has continued to make his intentions of making shelf available for the team as he has been training to keep in good shape.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Sunday evening. 

It's understood that Özil will be showing his support from home as he jeers his team mates.
